The Bacon Table
Affectionately called the bacon table due to the color and pattern of the live edge table used in new stores, the “bacon table” is a camp cook front of department fixture that anchors the department and invites customers to explore this popular area of the store.
VERSION 1
Previous iterations of the “bacon table” were under scaled and utilized poor visual elements, like the checkered table cloth shown above.
VERSION 2
Subsequent versions seem cluttered and the addition of a second table detracted even further from the experience.
CURRENT VERSION
Abandoning the camp tables all together and procuring a picnic table was just what this area needed. The gondolas behind the table are also adjusted to open up the sight lines to the wall creating huge impact.
