CLACKAMAS RE/SUPPLY
MERCHANDISING STANDARDS

A first of its concept for REI. A store dedicated to the sale of used merchandise, maximizing profitability and sustainability alike. Due to its unique nature, an all-up visual merchandising standards book needed to be produced. Here are some highlights.

Responsibilities included coordinating between VM partners, field execution leaders, project management, communication design and fixture team. Additionally, full VM strategy build, rendering design and copy writing/editing.

Footwear is one of our biggest drivers of Re/Supply business. We would need to maximize both wall and floor fixtures to capture this key product category. Organization is crucial to ensuring our customers are able to find sizes and styles that match their needs.

As one of our most notable categories, packs needed to be showcased in a way that our customers are familiar with. As a used product, there are still a lot of miles left in these, so we needed to maximize capacity. Options for cohabitation with travel packs and luggage were also presented.

One of the unique opportunities with a space such as this was to be able to utilize fixtures that have been retired from the full fleet. This is another step towards sustainability. This sleeping bag fixture, though pulled from use across most of our stores, was great addition to this space.
